RecursiveAutophagia connects to Maturana and Varela because autopoietic systems reproduce themselves through internal operations rather than external command alone. In Socioplastics, the corpus consumes, reworks and reintroduces its own material. This is not repetition as poverty but recursive nourishment. Older posts, terms, images, DOI records, fragments and residues are metabolised into renewed field structures. The archive becomes food, not mausoleum. RecursiveAutophagia allows the system to maintain continuity without freezing itself into heritage. It is a method of survival through transformation. Its internal companion is RecurrenceMass, where repeated material gains gravity through strategic return. This genealogy is anchored in Maturana and Varela’s Autopoiesis and Cognition (1980), and reconfigured in Lloveras’ Socioplastics Project Index (2026), https://antolloveras.blogspot.com/p/socioplastics-project-index.html.
